Let me give you some scenarios we’ve seen that may feel familiar… A team is about to leave the yard when they realise they don’t have an aerial rescue and they’ve got an 80 ft beech reduction to do.
Yet there’s 3 aerial rescuers on the other team, and they’re hedging for the day.
You’ve got one mewp booked in but both teams have jobs that need a mewp. Or you’ve booked yourself to be at a meeting and a quote at the same time.
I’m sure you know better than us how easily bad scheduling can ruin an entire day.

Your Calendar Configurations
1. Quote Calendar
Now as we mentioned in the section above the software stores all of your customers contact information.
So you can put that all in the slot that you’ve booked out in the calendar.
Then using time slots you can work out travel time to and from that quote to the next quote or meeting.
That way you can fit as much into your day as you like without appointments overlapping or even double booking yourself.
2. Job Calendar
The software will store the name, address and contact details of every customer as well as a short description of the work... It will also store the names of your staff as well as the kit you have.
So when you’re scheduling jobs all the information is in front of you. Making it nearly impossible to double book anything.
You can also put how long the job will take by booking out time slots and by integrating google calendar you can have every calendar in one place.
Each calendar showing up as a different colour.
For example;
Red for job calendar, green for quoting and blue for personal.
Then if you wanted to share the job calendar with the team members, you could.
That way the team leaders can go on the calendar and see;
● Whos in their team that day
● The kit they need
● The job and customers address

3. Personal Calendar
“How is my personal calendar relevant?” It’s a valid question but let me explain.
As a business owner you have time freedom, if you want to go for breakfast with aunt Claudia on Tuesday at 10am, you can... Or maybe on Tuesdays and Thursdays you get your kids from school.
If you put this in your personal calendar and then try to book a quote for that time on the ‘quoting calendar’, it simply won't let you.
So unless you really want to for some weird reason, it's very difficult to double book yourself.
Especially when it automatically integrates with google calendar and every different custom calendar will show up in different colours so you know which is which.
You’ll also be sent reminders for events or jobs that you’ve booked in.
